Girl’s Night Out Remix

What an exciting way to end our year with Beyond the Curves. . .

What an exciting year for Beyond the Curves! And, what an awesome group of ladies to end our year with.

On Saturday, December 12, 2015… we had 15 women gathered for FUN (some shown above in photo), LAUGHTER AND TOGETHERNESS! And, I think we certainly accomplished that.

We had a great Girl Chat session with Ms. Victoria Curry, great laughs, good eats and everyone completed their own Vision Board.

Often times we say; “New Year, New Me” but in order to actually make your new year a success you have to plan for your success. In order to have this success that you wish for, you have to put in work!

An AMAZING TIME, with some amazing women and I can’t wait for us to gather again!

Enjoy the abundant life you so much deserve.

Thanks for reading!

Our 1st Women’s Empowerment Conference, turned out great. Those that were there, we’re supposed to be there! In 2016, I am not worrying about QUANTITY anymore… I will certainly focus on QUALITY!

I wanted to step outside of the box and try YoGa for the first time ever. So, I thought it would be great to share with the community. I would love to see Body Positivity Yoga grow in 2016. Our awesome instructor Yogini Monica of S.W.E.E.T Eden has a lot to offer. Classes are ONLY $10 per session. Will resume next year.

Girl’s Night Out was amazing! We had 12 ladies attend. There were yummy bites, refreshing natural juices, wine, sweet treats and massages. And, we also had great Girl Chat with Coach Cass and makeup tips and tricks with Gabs the Fab.

Day 3 of 7 Days to a Winning Mindset

With trying to become a better ME! I decided to sign up for the WeWin Movement 7 Days to Have a Winning Mindset.
I think this is one of the best things I’ve set aside time for ME for! It’s not too late to catch up, sign up and join myself and the other ladies.

“Stress”
A Viral Infection

Stress is a disease waiting to overtake your entire mind, body, and spirit. Stress comes from being given too much responsibility and not enough tranquility in one day. Most of us stack our stress as high as the Empire State Building, but refuse to look for ways to CALM DOWN after taking on so many loads at once. Please know that physical things, (more money, less work, more clients, more customers, etc) WILL NOT make you less stressful. Only you can make YOU less stressful. The need to connect to a charger is just as important for your mind as it is for your cellphone everyday. Stop trying to run on an empty tank. You need empowerment, you need enlightenment. You need encouragement, and you need a daily way to just BREATHE and know that everything really is okay. There are over 10 exercises to relieve stress in my Tools For Fuel eBook – you are welcome to read it and find what works best for you!

Signed Cena Martin

So, now that Cena explained what stress can do to your mind and body, you’re probably asking yourself “How do I handle stress in my business?” Here it is:

1. Never, ever work for free.
You’re worth more than that, and it’s just not practical. Nothing is more stressful than putting in all that work and have zero income. Even if it’s a small amount, knowing you’re building a business that’s actually paying you to be there will give you peace of mind.

2. Give yourself a break.
All the little tasks and decisions we have to make every day gradually deplete our psychological resources. So every day, no matter how busy you are, leave the office for at least a 30-minute break. It can be to grab a coffee, eat lunch or just take a walk around the block. It’s a proven way to sustain concentration and energy levels throughout the day.

3. Go on vacations.
If you can’t leave the office for at least a week stretch without the place falling apart, you’ll never scale. It all comes back to finding great people so when you need to, you can shut down. As your company grows, hire people that you trust to keep day-to-day operations going as you take the time to reboot.

4. Get about eight hours of sleep every night.
Adequate sleep is a key part of a healthy lifestyle, and can benefit your heart, weight and mind, among other things. Ideally, you want to aim for about seven to nine hours. Less than that has shown to have deleterious effects on basic cognitive functions like memory and attention span. Getting enough sleep also helps you “practice” skills learned while you were awake (a process called consolidation).

5. Delegate, delegate, delegate.
Entrepreneurs tend to think they can do everything and one of the biggest challenges is learning to let go. By getting out of the way, you can free yourself from managing every day-to-day task so you can stay focused on the big picture, not every minute detail. A key part of this is ensuring that communication is constantly flowing between you and your team.

Keep yourself in check. These practices takes you one step further to WINNING!
